Abstract:
Polyester compounds (A) comprising structural units, are new. Polyester compounds (A) comprising structural units of formula (I or II), -((OCH(R 1>)-CH(R 1>) n-OR 2>)) Z - or -(polyfunctional unit) u-, are new. R 1> : H or 1-18C n- or iso-alkyl (preferably methyl); R 2> : 1-30C alkyl, 2-30C alkenyl, 5-9C-cycloalkyl, 6-30C-aryl or 6-50C arylalkyl; j, m, n : 1-200; x, t, z : 1-50 (where sum of x and t is greater than or equal to 2 and z is greater than 0); u : 0-5, preferably 0-0.25; and Me : Li +>, Na +>, K +>, Mg 2+>, Ca 2+>, Al 3+>, NH 4 +>, monoalkylammonium-, dialkylammonium-, trialkylammonium- and/or tetraalkylammonium ion (where the alkyl substituents of ammonium ions are 1-22C-alkyl or 2-10C-hydroxyalkyl).
