To provide an anisotropic electroconductive adhesive preventing a short-circuiting phenomenon during connecting of a circuit and having excellent long-term reliability.
An anisotropic electroconductive adhesive film 30 is composed of an insulating adhesive component 40 and a plurality of electroconductive particles 50 dispersed in the insulating adhesive component and a cross-linkable rubber-like resin contained in the insulating adhesive component. The cross-linkable rubber-like resin minimizes the heat shrinkage of the anisotropic electroconductive adhesive caused during polymerization or a curing reaction and prevents the peeling of the adhesive or lowering of the adhesive strength of the circuit during connection of the circuit when anisotropic electroconductive adhesive film 30 is interposed between the upper substrate 10 and the lower substrate 20 having mutually opposite circuit electrodes and hot-pressed. Thereby, short circuit across the adjacent electrodes is prevented during the connection of a microcircuit.
