Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the helix structure of anisotropically loaded traveling-wave tube which is less expensive and easily manufactured, with durability against shock and working effectively. CONSTITUTION: Arranging a helix circuit 12 inside a conductive housing 10 supported by the multiple dielectric supporting members 16, the conductive material 18 is directly adhered to the dielectric supporting parts 16 generating anisotropic load. The dielectric supporting members are made of aluminum nitride, which is less expensive with high thermal conductivity, and the conductive material 18 is adhered by silk-screen method, etc.
