PURPOSE: To dispense with a lifter for supporting a supporter during annealing operation and to drastically reduce the operating cost by making the supporter for coil in an annealing furnace for steel sheet coil the fixed type and executing carry-in/carry-out of the steel sheet coil in the annealing furnace with rolls in the furnace.
CONSTITUTION: At the time of annealing the steel sheet 4 wound as coil-shape in the annealing furnace 1, the carry of the coil 4 into the annealing furnace 1 and the carry-out from the annealing furnace 1 are executed with the roll 6 in the furnace supported with the bearings 20 arranged out of the furnace by utilizing the vertical movement with a filter 22 and the coil 4 during the annealing operation is supported with the fixed support 8 and the roll 6 in the furnace is lowered into a groove-shaped recessed part 11 arranged to the support 8. As the electric power for supporting the support 8 during the annealing is not necessary and the electric power for vertical movement of the roll 6 in the furnace only in the case of carrying out/carrying in the coil 4 is necessary for short period, the power consumption at the time of annealing the steel sheet coil can be minimized with high economical efficiency.
