To provide an announcement rest which can hold notes even in a strong wind, enables the notes becoming unnecessary to easily be removed, keeps the notes to be required next ready for the use, and makes an installation angle simply and agilely adjustable.

The announcement rest includes an announcement rest body provided with a before-announcement note housing area and an after-announcement note housing area for separately housing a plurality of the notes of the before-announcement notes and the after-announcement notes respectively, a fixing means fixed to the rest body and a support means connected to the fixing means and able to support the rest body and the fixing means. The rest body includes a front body part forming an announcer side in the before-announcement note housing area and a rear body part forming an area other than the announcer side in the before-announcement note housing area and the after-announcement note housing area. The front body part is formed of a material with transparency. The rear body part includes a first slit which a plurality of the before-announcement notes can be inserted into/removed from respectively and a second slit which a plurality of the after-announcement notes can be inserted into/removed from respectively.
