Tabular magnets 4 are arranged into a line changing their magnetic poles of north and south alternately, and a bendable line of magnets is formed, and touching boards 3 are set changing the directions of electrodes of plus and minus alternately so as to cross the position of this line of magnets. They are arranged so as to interpose the line of magnets by electromagnets 1, and brushes are fitted to the positions of the annular electromagnets 1. When a power source is connected and a current is caused to flow into the coils of the annular electromagnets 1 through the brushes from touching boards 3, the annular electromagnets 1 move to the position of the next magnet 4 successively by electromagnetic action, and propulsive motion in one direction is generated.
