PURPOSE: To effectively make the diametrical magnetic flux of an annular electromagnetic flow coupler and to realize miniaturization by using a superconductive coil for an electromagnetic coil, and sticking the superconductive material to prevent magnetic flux leakage to an iron core.
CONSTITUTION: To miniaturize an annular electromagnetic flow coupler 1, a superconductive coil 21 is used for an electromagnetic coil 10. Moreover, to prevent the magnetic flux leakage between the magnetic poles of an outer iron core 9 attached to a safety vessel 3, superconductive material 22 is installed through insulating material 13 between the electromagnetic coil 10, consisting of superconductive coil 21, and the outer iron core 9. By the Meisner effect, the magnetic flux leakage between the magnetic poles can be prevented. Furthermore, by sticking superconductive materials 22 also to the end of the outer iron core 9 and the end of an inner iron core 8, attached to an inner tube 4, the magnetic flux leakage at the magnetic pole end can be prevented.
