Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anode casting method and facility therefor in which the releasing agent and the flash preventive agent are sprayed with the spray timing of the releasing agent shifted from that of the flash preventive agent at the same stop position on a turntable, and the same effect as that of a conventional technology can be demonstrated without increasing any accessory facilities of a rotary anode casting machine.
SOLUTION: In the anode casting method, the releasing agent is sprayed in the mold when the mold is stopped or immediately before the mold is stopped at the predetermined stop position on the turntable, and the flash preventive agent is sprayed in the mold at the predetermined stop position after the elapse of the predetermined time in casting the anode for copper electrolysis having a pair of suspending ears on both sides of a top of the body in the mold on the intermittently rotating turntable, and in the rotary anode casting machine to cast the anode for copper electrolysis having a pair of suspending ears on both sides of the top of the body, an anode casting facility comprises a releasing agent spray facility, a flash preventive agent spray facility, and nozzles for spraying the releasing agent and the flash preventive agent at the same stop position on the turntable to intermittently rotate and move the mold.
