Title:
ANODIC MATERIAL FOR ELECTROOSMOSIS TYPE DEHYDRATION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0347519
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the anodic material excellent in the functions of conductivity, resistance to wastage and mechanical strength at a low cost by utilizing magnetite as the constitutional material of the anodic material for electroosmosis type dehydration.

CONSTITUTION: Magnetite which has composition of Pe3O4 and is ferromagnetic substance of inverse-spinel structure is obtained by sintering powder of iron oxide. This magnetite is utilized as the constitutional material of the anodic material for electroosmosis type dehydration. The obtained anodic material equips high-degree conductivity and therefore operation is stabilized and power consumption is lowered. Further elution of the component is not caused because the molded magnetite form is a stable passive state. Furthermore damage of mateiral is not caused because mechanical strength is made great. The anodic material is made light weight and obtained at a low cost.
