Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make treated Mg and Mg alloy free from defects in the coating films and excellent in corrosion resistance.
CONSTITUTION: At the time of treatment, Mg and Mg alloy are anodically oxidized with a treating soln. prepd. by adding one or more kinds of Al salts to an aq. soln. contg. a dichromate and ammonium hydrogen-fluoride. The treating soln. may further contain one or more kinds of compds. selected from phosphoric acid and phosphates.
