Title:
ANODIC SURFACE COATING AGENT FOR ELECTROCOAGULATION PRINTING AND ELECTROCOAGULATION PRINTING METHOD USING THE AGENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2000037952
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an anodic surface coating agent which does not increase the viscosity of an electrocoagulation printing ink during printing and does not cause an unfavorable smear on the non-image part of an object to be printed and an electrocoagulation printing method which can create an electrocoagulation printed matter which is free from the deterioration of an image quality by smears.

The anodic surface coating agent for electrocoagulation printing contains a fatty monoester. The electrocoagulation printing method includes a step to prepare an anode with an immovable surface and a cathode, a step to cover the surface of the anode with the microliquid droplets of an anode surface coating agent for electrocoagulation printing containing a fatty monoester, a step to form coagulating ink dots corresponding to a desired image on the surface of the anode by electrically coagulating a printing ink containing an electrocoagulating polymer packed between the cathode and the anode and a step to form an image on an object to be printed by transferring the coagulating ink dots to the object.
