Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abnormality detection device and a battery pack system which can suppress false detection of abnormalities.SOLUTION: The abnormality detection device is for detecting an abnormality of a battery pack system having serially connected battery cells, and includes a first voltage detector, a switch, a second voltage detector, and an abnormality detector. The first voltage detector detects a first voltage of a first passage connected to both terminals of a battery cell, the switch is arranged in a second passage connected to both terminals of a battery cell, and the second voltage detector detects a second voltage of the second passage. The abnormality detector detects an abnormality of the battery pack system based on the first voltage and the second voltage when the switch is in an on-state and on the first voltage and the second voltage when the switch is in an off-state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
