Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating and/or preventing tumors, a comparatively low-toxic and efficient method for inhibiting growth of tumors, particularly a method for further improving generally the toxicity associated with systemic chemotherapy.SOLUTION: Disclosed is a complex of an anti-tumor drug combined with an antcin, or a salt thereof, or an ester derivative, or a composition. In the complex, the antcin or a salt thereof, or an ester derivative, or a composition exists in such an amount as to reduce the amount of the anti-tumor drug and reduce cytotoxicity to normal cells. In the complex, the antcin is antcin A, antcin B, antcin C, antcin D, antcin E, antcin F, antcin H, or antcin K.
