Title:
ANTENNA ASSEMBLY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2006333026
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an antenna assembly in which an RFID tag can irradiate fully operable radio waves, while enhancing success probability of communication with the RFID tag, without affecting the surrounding system.

As shown on Fig. 2(A), a cargo 50 affixed with an RFID tag is conveyed on a truck 51 and is placed in a rotating space 4. When the rotating space 4 is rotated leftward in that state, open plane of the rotating space 4 and open plane of a fixed space 7 match each other as shown on Fig. 2(B), and a closed space is constituted by the planes of other conductors in the rotating space 4 and the fixed space 7. Communication is performed, with the RFID tag affixed to the cargo 50 by radiating radio wave from an antenna 8 inside a closed space. After completing communication with the RFID tag inside the closed space, the rotating space 4 is made to rotate in any direction, as shown on Fig. 2(C), and the cargo 50 can be removed.
