Title:
ANTENNA FOR COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH07183718
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To realize transmission/reception of high sensitivity between a portable telephone moving in a zone and an antenna by attaching the antenna to the ceiling in a room with a conductive disk turned up to direct the antenna downward and improve the gain.

CONSTITUTION: A non-resonating three-wire folded element 11 consists of an annular ring-shaped member 11c, a linear member 11a extended from one point of the inner peripheral part of the member 11c, and a linear member 11b extended from another point of the inner peripheral part of the member 11c to the vicinity of the center part. This element 11 generates an unbalance mode current and displays the matching function. The antenna is attached to the ceiling in the room with the conductive disk 11b turned up and the antenna is directed downward, thereby improving the gain. This antenna is small-sized and light-weight and is easily and surely attached to an arbitrary position of the ceiling without offending the eye.
