To realize high isolation in a broad band, and a performance with low coupling and a high gain, in a constitution such that plural antenna elements actuated including not only the same frequency band but also different frequency bands are arranged to adjacent to each other in a portable radio terminal.
A first connection circuit 108 is adjusted to cancel a mutual coupling impedance between a first antenna element 106 and a second antenna element 107 in a first frequency band, so as to reduce deterioration of coupling between antenna elements. Also, a blocking circuit 111 for a second frequency band corresponding to the second frequency band is arranged between the first antenna element 106 and a first power feeding part 104. By such a constitution, in the portable radio terminal, low coupling and high isolation can be secured in the same frequency band. In the different frequency bands, an operation volume of the antenna is enlarged by using the breaking circuit, and therefore, a performance with a high gain can be realized.
