To provide a compact size planar inverted F antenna device which can support two frequency bandwidths and broaden the lower frequency bandwidth between the two frequency bandwidths.
A radiation conductor 2 comprises a planar conductor 21 including a feeding point Q, a planar conductor 23 including an open end of the radiation conductor 2, and a dual-band forming inductor 22 connected between the planar conductors 21 and 22. A grounded conductor 9 has a horizontal part 9H1, a horizontal part 9H2 and a slant part 9S. The horizontal part 9H1 lies in parallel with the planar conductor 21 at a distance Ha from the planar conductor 21. The horizontal part 9H2 lies in parallel with the planar conductor 23 at a distance Hb longer than the distance Ha from the planar conductor 23. The slant part 9S faces the dual-band forming inductor 22 and connects the horizontal part 9H1 and the horizontal part 9H2.
