Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To downsize an antenna device equipped with an AMC reflection board.SOLUTION: An antenna device has a dipole antenna 2 as a radiator and an AMC reflection board 10 formed of many patch elements 4 and a bottom board 6 as a reflector. A reflection surface of the patch elements 4 constituting the AMC reflection board 10 is not a square but a long shape that is longer in a polarization direction (a y-axis direction) of a radio wave to be radiated and is shorter in an x-axis direction orthogonal to the polarization direction. Additionally, a slit may be formed in the x-axis direction from a side of the patch elements 4 parallel with the y-axis.
