Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a null beam even when the mode vector is in primary subordination by providing an inherent space generator for calculating the inherent space corresponding to the inherent value zero and a projection vector generator for calculating the projection vector.
SOLUTION: A DOA(Direction Of Arrival) setter 5 outputs a DOA at the time when the DOA is well-known, and a mode vector generator 6 calculates a mode vector on the basis of respective wave sources. An inherent space generator 8 calculates an inherent space corresponding to the inherent value zero according to the mode vector. A projection vector generator 9 calculates a projection vector according to the mode vector and inherent space. The projection vector is multiplied by the signals issued from antennas 1-1, 1-2,..., 1-m, thereby forming a null beam and making the antenna gain to be the maximum. Thus, even when the respective mode vectors corresponding to the wave source are independent primarily, the null beam can be formed in a predetermined direction.
