Title:
ANTENNA EXTENDING MECHANISM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH05121919
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To avoid a defect due to the increase in a rope winding load by driving a rotary drum at a faster circumferential speed than the rope feeding speed and winding the rope in the inner direction of a rope housing section while being wound together with the rotation of the rotary drum.

CONSTITUTION: Since a coil spring 6 is wound on the shaft cylinder of a rotary drum 5 at a prescribed pressure when the antenna is retracted, the coil 6 reaches shrinked state. Thus, the pinion 2 of a rope feeding wheel and the drum 5 are coupled and the pinion 2 is driven with friction by the rotary drum 5. Thus, the rope housing section 5a of the drum 5 is forcibly driven at the faster circumferential speed than the rope feed speed at the time of the retraction of the antenna. Thus, when the rope 3 is led in the inside of the drum 5, the rope 3 receives the moving force from the inner circumferential face of the rope housing section 5a while being wound according to the rotation of the drum 5, the sliding of the rope 3 is implemented smoothly and the defect due to increase in the rope winding load is avoided.
