To provide a finely structured antenna for a radar device, and a method of manufacturing the antenna for radar device that is excellent in finishing accuracy and highly productive.
The method of manufacturing the antenna for radar device comprises a radial substrate molding process of molding a radial substrate 101 through an injection molding method in order to fabricate a radial substrate 101 comprising an antenna element 110; a pattern formation process of forming patterns on both surfaces of the radial substrate 101 subsequently to the radial substrate molding process; and a through-hole formation process of forming a first feeder path 105, a second feeder path 106, and a through-hole 122 on the radial substrate 101. The radial substrate molding process comprises the steps of: disposing a first copper foil 131 and a second copper foil 132 on both opposite sides of a first metal mold 151; inserting a precision pin 153 into a position where a first through-hole is formed; and injecting a resin 154 into the first metal mold 151.
