Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna system capable of ensuring a high reception performance under any circumstance. SOLUTION: In this antenna system used for a portable radio receiver, pluralities of loop antennas 1, 3 are placed on different faces of a case 9 of the radio receiver and a changeover means 5 is placed on the case to select a reception signal from pluralities of the loop antennas and a loop antenna that provides a higher reception level is selected for receiving a radio wave. A high reception performance is ensured by selecting a loop antenna whose directivity or polarized plane is more advantageous on the reception performance.
