To provide an antenna which includes an antenna that can be stored, has a new matching circuit as for both upper and lower positions and can working two or more frequency bands by composing it of a whip antenna that has a substantially rectilinear wire to be connected to a feeding point and a helical coil antenna to be connected to the feeding point.
In a dielectric core 402, there is a dielectric sleeve 405 which covers a whip antenna 406 being a substantially rectilinear wire. A helical coil antenna 408 is present in a spiral recessing part that is formed in the core 402. Either of the antennas 406 or 408 is electrically connected to a single-pole antenna 205. In particular, the lower part of he antenna 406 is connected to the antenna 205 in the recessing part of a shoulder part 411 and the lower part of the antenna 408 is also connected to the recessing part of the antenna 205 respectively.
