Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized antenna, which is reduced in external size and can perform transmission and reception with good sensitivity and also transmit and receive signals of ≥2 frequency bands with good sensitivity even when a 1st and a 2nd antenna part are electrically connected, as an antenna which should be small-sized like the transmitting and receiving antenna of portable equipment.
SOLUTION: An antenna element 1 is formed of a long conductor is folded back at least once along the length to become substantially parallel, and then it resonates with substantially 3/4 wavelength of the frequency band of a transmit and a receive signal; and an element 113 which is at least half an electric length part of substantially 1/4 wavelength of the said frequency band from the end part of the antenna element 1 on the opposite side from its feed part 30 is extended not substantially in parallel to the parts of the said elements 111 and 112 that are formed substantially in parallel.
