Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna which is attached onto a wall surface, a window, etc., of a building, a vehicle, etc., and has a function to shield or enhance an electromagnetic wave of a specific frequency regardless of the polarized surface of the electromagnetic wave.
SOLUTION: This antenna 10 has the antenna elements 12 of circular shapes, etc., and each element 12 uses a conductive material of a closed loop shape and has its circumference effective length λ equal to the length of a single electromagnetic wave. If the line width of the element 12 is set as (w), the shielding and enhancing functions are secured when w≤4.λ.e-4.5 and w>4.λ.e-4.5 are satisfied respectively.
