Title:
ANTENNA
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3949292
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an antenna capable of exhibiting its characteristics, without depending on the plane of polarization of incoming radio waves by substantially constituting the antenna from a substrate which is made of a net equipped with parasitic elements made of conductive material.
SOLUTION: A screen door type antenna 10 is constituted by arranging plural loop-shaped antenna elements 12 on a net member 11 which is a substrate constituting a screen door. The loop-shaped antenna elements 12 utilize both properties of a parasitic antenna short-circuiting a feeding point and a loop antenna. The parasitic antenna short-circuiting a feeding point in this way reradiates received radio waves. In this case, the phase of a reradiation electric field becomes different depending on the thickness and measurements of the lines of the elements 12 and can be both in-phase and anti-phase to incident waves. Further, because characteristics do not have directivity in a loop surface, polarization dependence does not exist in the surface. Then, it is possible to obtain an antenna which can exhibit characteristics, capable of shielding of electromagnetic waves of specific frequency and enhancement.
