PURPOSE: To improve the receiving performance of an antenna and also to improve the appearance of the window glass by applying the antenna patterns of a conductive transparent thin film on the surface of the window glass.
CONSTITUTION: A pair of symmetrical antenna patterns 6 is formed on the surface of a transparent or semitransparent window glass 5 by vapor deposition of a conductive transparent thin film of tin oxide, zinc oxide, etc. Both patterns 6 have the band shapes of the prescribed width and also kept transparent owing to use of the conductive transparent thin film. Therefore the patterns 6 never impair the viewing of landscapes and the lighting through the window 5 although these patterns 6 are applied on the surface of the glass 5. Furthermore the patterns 6 are connected to a feeder via a connector box 7 and also connected to a receiver via the feeder.
