Claims for the contracting State AT A process for the preparation of compounds of the Formula I see diagramm : EP0186807,P11,F1 in which R represents a sugar combination of the composition Roa-dF-Rod or Roa-Rod-Rod, where Roa represents rhodosamine, dF represents deoxyfucose and Rod represents rhodinose, and the physiologically acceptable acid addition salts thereof, which comprises fermentation of the microorganism Streptomyces purpurascens DSM 2658 in a customary manner under aerobic conditions, in the presence of a nutrient medium, addition of a chemical inhibitor after a particular fermentation time, and isolation, from the culture liquid and the mycelium, of the compounds which have been formed, using organic solvents followed by chromatography in a customary manner.
