Abstract:
To provide a Magenta pigment with bright hue, high water resistance, high solubility in an organic solvent, and excellent storage stability and a printing ink capable of forming a high-quality image and giving a highly water-resistant recorded image.
The ink contains a compound represented by general formula (1) (wherein R1-R3 are each H or an optionally substituted alkyl or aryl; R4 is H, a halogen atom, or an optionally substituted alkyl; and R5 is H or an optionally substituted alkyl).
