Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide biomarkers of mycobacteriosis that allow simple and accurate estimation of disease activity of mycobacteriosis or the presence or absence of acid-fast bacterial infection.SOLUTION: Provided is a biomarker of mycobacteriosis or acid-fast bacterial infection being a microRNA (miRNA) comprising a base sequence having 85% or more identity to the base sequence represented by SEQ ID NO:1. Also provided is a solid phase carrier for detecting mycobacteriosis or acid-fast bacterial infection characterized in that at least one probe is immobilized on the surface of the solid phase carrier, which probe comprises a polynucleotide comprising a base sequence complementary to the entire or part of a base sequence having identity of 85% or more to the base sequence of SEQ ID NO:1.SELECTED DRAWING: None
