Abstract:

To provide an anti-androgenic agent comprising a fermented licorice extract as a raw material and effective for preventing, treating and improving common acne, seborrhea, male pattern alopecia, and the like which are male hormone-dependent diseases, and to provide various products containing the same.

This anti-androgenic agent comprises a water-soluble fraction obtained by fermenting a licorice water extract with lactic acid and then fractionating the obtained fermentation solution with an organic solvent and water, or the dehydration treatment product of the water-soluble fraction. And a quasi- drug or cosmetic contains the anti-androgenic agent as an active ingredient.
