Abstract:
To provide an anti-connexin compound and composition advantageous for modulation of connexin, hemichannel and gap junction and useful for therapy of various diseases, conditions and disorders; and a use method of these compound and composition, a pharmaceutical formulation, a kit and a medical device.SOLUTION: A method and composition for modulating connexin activity for therapy of, for example, cardiovascular, vessel, nerve, wound and other indications are provided. These compound and method can be therapeutically used to alleviate seriousness of adverse effect related to a disease and a disorder where prevention of topical destruction of direct cell-cell communication or hemichannel opening is desired. One aspect provides a compound, composition and method for therapy of a subject affected with vessel disorders.SELECTED DRAWING: None
