Abstract:

To provide an anti-fall device of a follower type to be used on a safety rope 12 that is fixed.

This anti-fall device is provided with a fixing system 18 including a support arm 26 connected to a first spindle 24 between an action and lock position and a non-action and non-lock position, a roller 28 in the form of a cylindrical wheel rotatably installed on a second spindle 30 that is fixed to the support arm 26, and a centrifugal clutch mechanism 38 disposed between a drive member 33 of the roller 28 and the support arm 26. On a circumferential surface of the roller 28, a plurality of studs 32 having a prescribed inclination angle to make the roller 28 rotate in a falling direction, and the rope 12 slide on a rising direction. A body 16 has a linear U-shaped channel 20 for having the rope 12 to be inserted. The channel has a hole 23 for insertion of an installation means.
