To provide an anti-glare film which shows an excellent anti-glare property and the like, and prevents generation of air bubbles.

An anti-glare film 1 comprises an anti-glare layer 101 which has a fine rugged surface and is formed on a transparent support 104. The fine rugged surface includes 95% or more of the surfaces which have inclination angles equal to or below 5°. The anti-glare layer is formed by applying coating liquid containing an active energy ray-curable resin, fine particles, and a diluent solvent on the transparent support, drying, and then applying a hardening treatment while pressing a stamper. And the settling degree of the coating liquid is limited within an appropriate range.
