Abstract:
To provide a composition and a method for the use of an antigenic peptide derived from an Fc portion in the heavy chain of an IgE molecule as vaccine for treating and preventing an IgE-mediated allergic disorders.
The composition of the treatment and method of the IgE-mediated allergic disorders contain an immunogenic amount of at least one antigenic peptide derived from the CH3 domain of the IgE molecule or the CH3/CH4 junction domain.
