Abstract:
To provide an anti-inflammatory agent having cyclic AMP (adenosine monophosphate) phosphodiesterase inhibiting action, an antioxidation agent having at least one of superoxide scavenging action, radical scavenging action and hydrogen peroxide scavenging action, a skin whitening agent having melanogenesis suppressing action, and a skin cosmetic product, food and drink containing the above agents.
The invention provides an anti-inflammatory agent containing extract of Cleistocalyx operculatus, an antioxidation agent containing extract of Cleistocalyx operculatus, a skin whitening agent containing extract of Cleistocalyx operculatus, and skin cosmetics, food or drink containing extract of Cleistocalyx operculatus.
