Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-inflammatory drug and an anti-inflammatory cytokine inhibitor including a new phospholipid having a high anti-inflammatory action and a specified acidic lipid.SOLUTION: Provided is an anti-inflammatory drug or an inflammatory cytokine production inhibitor including 1-eicosapentaenoyl-2-(3-hydroxy)palmitoylphosphatidyl glycerol and a lipid as fatty acid in which the number of carbons is 20 or higher and the number of double bonds is 4 or more, being a glycero type acidic substance in which two fatty acids are coupled to the 1, 2 positions of a glycerol skeleton.
