Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enhance the stability of a car body, braking efficiency, etc., by performing pressurization and decompression of a wheel cylinder with the desired pressurizing or decompressing rate in accordance with the synchronized condition of the wheel speed with presumed car body speed, and after recovery of eventual skid, boosting the liquid pressure of applicable wheel cylinder quickly.
CONSTITUTION: An anti-lock control device comprises a wheel speed sensing means S. wheel/body behavior calculating means CAL, lock indication sensing means L. decompress signal setting means D, differential pressure calculating means P, pressurize signal setting means R, decompression actuator ACTD, and pressurization actuator ACTR. When any indication of locking is sensed, the decompression actuator is driven with a decompress signal being set, and the applicable wheel cylinder is decompressed at a paper decompressing rate. After the locking indication is eliminated, the [pressurization actuator is driven with appropriate slow/quick pressurize signal in case the speeds of the wheel and body are not synchronized, while the same actuator is driven with appropriate quick pressurize signal in case they are in synchronous state. If a variable flow valve is in use for pressurization/decompression, the desired pressurizing/decompressing rate can be held with high preciseness.
