Abstract:
To provide a mixing prevention coating device that can coat base materials running continuously with a plurality of coating materials, without forming gaps in a width direction of the base materials, while making the materials adjacent to each other without overlapping the materials with each other so that the materials are not mixed with each other.SOLUTION: Two coating material supply passages 5 and 6 through which different coating materials are protruded adjacently in a longitudinal direction of a slot 4 are formed in a die 2. Downstream ends of both coating material supply passages 5 and 6 are merged at a merging point P of an opening part of the slot 4. The coating material supply passage 5 is formed of a linear passage 5a extending downward in a vertical direction, from a manifold 7 at an upstream side toward the slot 4 and an expanding passage 5b gradually expanding from the linear passage 5a toward the merging point P. The coating material supply passage 6 is formed of a directing passage 6a through which the coating materials are flown to be directed downward in the vertical direction and in a direction of the merging point P, from a manifold 8 at the upstream side toward the merging point P, which is formed so that an upper surface of a substrate W is coated with the different coating materials at the merging point P without mixing the materials with each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
