Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the subject novel anti-neoplastic, anti-viral, anti-psoriasis, and anti-retroviral compound, useful for an insecticide.
CONSTITUTION: A compound represented by the formula (wherein R1 and R6 are each a 1-12C alkyl or aralkyl, such as 1,20-bis(N-ethyl amino)-4,8,13-17- tetraazaeicosane-N-ethyl-N-(3-chloro propyl)-p-toluene sulfone amide is produced. The compound represented by the formula is obtained, for example, by adding sodium hydride to N-ethyl-p-toluene sulfone amide, adding, 1,3-dichloropentane thereto, heating the mixture, extracting it with ether after cooling, and eliminating the solvent by distilling the extract in a Kugelrohr apparatus.
