PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide interleukin 12(IL-12) and interleukin 17(IL-17) production inhibiting compositions.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a composition containing β-glycyrrhetinic acid and dipotassium glycyrrhizinate; an anti-periodontitis composition containing the material; and an oral composition containing the material. β-glycyrrhetinic acid and dipotassium glycyrrhizinate are well-known components as anti-inflammatory agents, and they are combined with each other, showing excellent IL-12 and IL-17 production inhibitory effect, which is useful for improving the symptoms of periodontitis (particularly chronic periodontitis and chronic periodontitis).SELECTED DRAWING: None
