PURPOSE: To tune gravity transfer which is opposed to an omnidirectional rolling motion with a cycle of waves and reduce rolling of a floating pier by mounting a box to the lower part and installing a sloshing preventive mechanism to a control water tank which includes an inside air layer and allowing a bottom plate to be inclined in the omnidirection.
CONSTITUTION: An actuator 10 is mounted to a bottom plate 9 of a control water tank 7 equally-angle spaced. A clinometer 11 mounted on the top surface of a floating pier 1 reads the inclination of the top surface, its inclination direction, inclination speed and acceleration, thereby computing the rolling attenuation direction of the floating pier 1. Each of the actuators 10 is servo-controlled by a servo-control mechanism 12 so that the bottom plate 9 may be inclined in the desired direction so as to comply with the rolling movement of the floating pier 1. At the same time, control water in the control water tank 7 is gravity-transferred, thereby moving the gravity of the floating pier 1. This construction makes it possible to provide a moment to the floating pier 1 where the moment is opposed to the rolling motion of the floating pier 1, thereby reducing the rolling and stabilizing a floating posture. A sloshing preventive mechanism is designed to prevent the generation of sloshing during the gravity transfer of control water and hence execute spontaneous transfer of gravity.
