Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a wet toner easy in the heat-melting property of resin in the fixing process of the toner, good in film forming characteristics of toner images, capable of producing printed matters having certain image qualities, excellent in dissolving property, melting property and dispersion stability of the resine at the time of granulating the resine particles, having submicron-order particle sizes with extremely narrow distribution of particle size, good in dispersibility and without deterioration.
CONSTITUTION: This wet toner consists of a large proportion of liquid aliphatic hydrocarbons and ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin particles having 2.5-950 melt flow index or ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin particles having 2.5-950 melt flow index with addition of a coloring agent. The toner contains a negative charge controlling agent and an ester of polyhydroxycarboxylic acid consisting of trimers to decamers of hydroxycarboxylic acid ester monomers.
