NEW MATERIAL:A compound expressed by a base sequence of the formula [p(s) indicates that the atom bound to a phosphor atom in an internucleotide part with a double bond is S; (p) indicates that the atom bound to a phosphorus atom in an internucleotide part with a double bond is O].
USE: An HIV activity inhibitor.
PREPARATION: In synthesis of an oligodeoxyribonucleotide with a solid-phase synthetic method, a sulfur-oxidation procedure is carried out after each capping procedure following each condensation reaction of a dimer, trimer, tetramer and pentadecamer.
