To make anti-skid bodies dividable into two portions to easily carry them in an anti-skid device for fitting the several non-skid bodies to a tire of an automobile.
The anti-skid body is provided with a front U-shaped member 2 and a rear U-shaped member 3 in the tire rotating direction and inside linear members 4a, 4b along the inner face of the tire. The front and rear U-shaped members 2, 3 has traverse parts traversing the tread of the tire, outside parts along the outer face of the tire and inside parts along the inner face of the tire. The inside linear members 4a, 4b connect the inner part of the front U-shaped member 4 with the inner part of the rear U-shaped member 3. The inside linear parts 4a, 4b can be divided into front and rear portions and the divided portions can be coupled. Therefore, the anti-skid body is divided into the front portion mainly comprising the front U-shaped member 2 and the rear portion mainly comprising the rear U-shaped member 3, and restored by integrating the front and rear portions after the division.
