Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an incorrect operation of an anti-theft function caused by an operation of an engine starting system startable in an non-inserted state of a key into an ignition key cylinder, in an anti-theft device for a vehicle.
SOLUTION: A push start switch pushed at an engine starting time is connected to a power supply controller for making a starter motor start the engine when the key is inserted into the ignition key cylinder or certification collation by radio communication is completed and the anti-theft device for the vehicle for operating a warning apparatus when an IG signal from the power supply controller becomes an on-signal while the key is not inserted into the ignition key cylinder. When the collation by the radio communication with a portable machine is completed after an operation of the push start switch, the power supply controller switches an ACC signal or the IG signal supplied to the anti-theft device to an on-state in this order. When ACC signal is putted into the on-state, the anti-theft device switches an security function to a non-caution sate.
