Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an anti-tumor agent having excellent effect to suppress the tumor of warm-blooded animals, and useful for the abatement and remedy of malignant tumors such as leukemia, containing a methynecyanine derivative.
CONSTITUTION: An anti-tumor agnet containing a compound I (Y, Y' are S, O or a group IV; R and R' are alkyl or alkenyl; X- is anion; n is 0W4; R1-2, R'1-2 are H, alkyl, etc.), and a proper diluent. Effective to suppress the tumors of warm- blooded animals such as man, mouse, rat, etc. Dose: 0.02W100mg/kg/day by parenteral administration, e.g. by injection. The compound I wherein n is O, can be prepared by reacting a compound II (R3 is lower alkyl) with a compound III.
