Abstract:

To obtain an antiallergic agent derived from a natural product, free from adverse effects, having high safety and capable of using for medicines, specific foods for health cares and foods and beverage such as health foods.

This antiallergic agent comprises an acid milk whey and the antiallergic agent is especially effective against immediate allergy or delayed type allergy, and is orally and/or percutaneously administered. Fermented milk obtained by fermenting a fermentation raw material by using bacteria for fermentation including various kinds of lactic acid bacteria, or the like, can be used as the acid milk. Particularly, e.g. Lactobacillus helveticus can be used as the lactic acid bacterium. Fermentation can be carried out by subjecting the above lactic acid bacterium to mixed culture with other lactic acid bacterium species or subjecting the above lactic acid bacterium to cocultivation with a yeast.
