Abstract:
To provide an antiallergic agent capable of ameliorating not only early phase symptom but also late phase symptom of allergic rhinitis, and providing little problem in safety because of being originated from a natural product.
The antiallergic gent is used by combining an extract of one kind of a plant selected from the group consisting of Guaiacum officinale L., Guaiacum sanctum L. and Bulnesia sarmientoi, with an extract of Rubus suavissimus S. Lee. Leukotriene production-inhibiting effects are synergistically promoted by the antiallergic agent, and the antiallergic agent has little problem in the safety because of being originated from the natural product.
