To provide medicinal agent, food additive and food that can be used for antiallergic, amelioration of pollen disease, serum IgE concentration decrease, IL-4 production suppression, and TNF production suppression.

The antiallergic agents, food additives for antiallergic and an antiallergic food includes ground lotus and/or extract and lactic bacteria. The antiallergic agents, antiallergic food additives and antiallergic foods include ground lotus and/or lotus extract and lactic bacteria as effective components and can ameliorate or treat pollen disease, bronchial asthma, allergic diseases including atopic dermatitis.
